On July 4, 1776, 56 brave men pledged their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honor by signing the Declaration of Independence, a document which declared America free of the tyranny and persecution of British rule. These brave men were Representatives of the Thirteen Colonies, and their stories represent only a handful of the hundreds of thousands of men and women who risked everything for our God-given freedom.
